Pattie Roberts is a familiar face around Southwest Riverside County having spent years promoting good causes with local radio station KFROG and then with her own agency, MarketingWithACause.com. Through the years she has served on various Board of Directors including the (old) Sun City/Menifee Chamber of Commerce and Therapeutic Handicap-able Equestrian Center in Hemet. She has worked tirelessly to promote organizations such as Exceed, work programs for Adults with Disabilities, Animal Friends of the Valley, the Memory Walk for Alzheimer’s awareness, she supports four school districts Student of the Month programs and many others good causes.
Last year she relocated her horse ranch to Murrieta and retired” from advertising to pursue her lifelong passion of horses. The Dudette Ranch concept is a local take off of the vacation destination Dude Ranch. "Although we aren’t wrangling cattle or sleeping under the stars, this is a working horse ranch and the monthly membership allows members daily access to hang out at the barn and work with the horses as we care for, train and ride. The program includes riding lessons, buddy passes, field trips and even the opportunity for those who want to lease a horse. All the equipment and horses are provided and we have programs for the beginner through the advanced rider in both English and Western" says Pattie.
Nothing improves your life more then relaxation and exercise. The ranch is conveniently located 1/2 mile east of the Sports Park on Los Alamos Road, right off the 215 Freeway. The program is structured to allow members access on their own schedule much like a gym. This is a private facility with limited memberships so whether you want to escape from reality for several hours, recapture your youth, increase your stamina, lose weight, make new friends or aspire to be a serious Equestrian, the Dudette Ranch program at Signature Farms is for you.
Earlier this year 23 horse were abandoned at the Farm. "After years of serving the Non Profit community"says Pattie Roberts "now I am one!" Your contributions are needed to provide a retirement and respectable end of life experience for these horses who have out lived their usefulness as riding and breeding horses.
" The State doesn't have an adoption program for horses like it does for dogs and cats so these horses would have been euthanized," says Pattie. "It was not in my business plan to become a Rescue Ranch however, after calling 35 organizations from Arizona to Washington and finding them all full.....I had no choice!"
The ranch will be hosting an Open Barn the first Saturday of every month from 10am-2pm.
Bring carrots, your camera and the kids for a tour of a truly remarkable facility.

it's more like a hobby than exercise.
